Building Our Casa | Building a Strawbale House in Pecos, NM
Building a Strawbale House in Pecos, NM. December 28, 2011. Since finishing the outdoor plastering in early November, we’ve made a big push to finish everything indoors enough to move in. The first thing that needed to happen was plastering inside, especially on the straw walls. The ‘inner’ walls (the ones between rooms) were important too, but not as important as covering up the straw. We were so tired of looking at the straw! One of our bedroom windows with drying plaster on the wall. November 11, 2011.
