Letters from Lin: Trimming or Chain Saw Massacre?

http://lettersfromlin.blogspot.com/2015/07/trimming-or-chain-saw-massacre.html

A place to share my writings, poems, photos, family history, express opinions, and connect with others. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Trimming or Chain Saw Massacre? On my morning walk at 7 am, I noticed this neighbor's tree suddenly has changed its appearance. Not sure why but it got an extreme trimming. I would guess it's the first stage of taking it out because of disease but it was a SHOCK! We really loved our Alaskan Cruise with Princess and had a great time! July 30, 2015 at 12:41 AM. How could you not?

Letters from Lin: January 2015

http://lettersfromlin.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

A place to share my writings, poems, photos, family history, express opinions, and connect with others. Saturday, January 31, 2015. Life is sometimes just a matter of perspective. Or paradigms––how you see situations and people. I'm trying to understand how to live with less stress. And I'm discovering that I'm the cause of much of it. Because of how I perceive my world, some things aren't. How I think they are while other times I'm unaware of what. Links to this post. Thursday, January 29, 2015. Can't r...

A place to share my writings, poems, photos, family history, express opinions, and connect with others. Thursday, April 2, 2009. Somehow it's always a fun surprise when I find out another article that I've written was accepted and published in a regional magazine entitled Desert Saints. Which originates in Las Vegas. Entitled A Lifetime of Memories: Preserving your Personal Testimony. And the other is still needing a title Finding the Unique You? Will be based on Julia Cameron's book The Artist's Way.

Letters from Lin: Wall of LOCKS...

http://lettersfromlin.blogspot.com/2015/05/wall-of-locks.html

A place to share my writings, poems, photos, family history, express opinions, and connect with others. Monday, May 18, 2015. On one of our shopping days, Caryn and I discovered this Love Lock. Gate in St. George, where couples are invited to express their love. Maybe this is better than carving your initials in a living tree? I have heard of this but have not seen one in person. May 18, 2015 at 10:16 PM. There are many of these fences with locks in Europe. One I remember is in Saltzburg over a bridge.

Inspirational letters by Millie. Sunday, July 5, 2015. My Bedroom Got a New Look. After debating whether I should redo my bedroom, I finally did it and the work is still not completed. http://beautiful.wordfromhome.com/2009/04/the-joy-set-before-him.html

Sunday, April 12, 2009. For The Joy Set Before Him. What gives an Olympic athlete the motivation and stamina to endure countless months of hard training, working out till his muscles scream in agony? What makes him choose to work on his technique or program, even when he hears the laughter of friends floating through open windows on warm summer days? What makes the athlete endure? What gives him the motivation to keep at it? What was the prize that gave him so much joy just thinking about it? Was it beca...

Sunday, April 05, 2015. Woke early this morning to the sound of birds. It was lovely as the daylight started breaking through. For me, it felt as my corner of the world was celebrating on the outside what I was celebrating on the inside. our risen Savior, Jesus the Christ. Because He lives, I can face all my tomorrows with hope, joy, and confidence. The Song Breaks In. For The Joy Set Before Him. Sending hugs and wishes to you for a beautiful day. http://beautiful.wordfromhome.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Tulips Are Happy Things. On a recent visit to the local conservatory we were delighted to find the pavilions in full Spring bloom. It no longer mattered that it was still cool outside - we'd been transported into a fragrant, cheery place - maybe even heaven. I do allow myself to imagine what it might feel like to be that free, that bold. In a world perfected by Love, where fear and cruelty hurled far from our presence, allows us to blossom into our truest selves. Surely, ...One d...

teachersays: More creative license plates

http://teaching-teachersays.blogspot.com/2013/12/more-creative-license-plates.html

Stuff from the head of a retired teacher, daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Sunday, December 15, 2013. More creative license plates. I'm certain that I've chuckled at a number of plates that I've forgotten, but I made some notes- written and verbal- to help me remember. People are creative and I, for one, am glad that they share with me. A well-used, small, blue pickup truck's plate said ZOMBKLR. A creamy, yellow crossover was SUN E 1. Could be a comment on attitude. The vehicle was white.

Letters From Limbo | by Phil Force

I had a tumor removed from the third ventricle of my brain when I was twenty. When I was first told of this tumor, I had become dispassionate toward the world in which I lived and welcomed the change. Would I die? Either way, what could I do but embrace the experience to come? Who has access to your perspective other than yourself? Humbly powered by WordPress.

4 out of 5 dentists recommend this WordPress.com site. August 21, 2013. I often feel in life some things go unsaid… When people pass the loved ones often comment “I had so much to tell her/him” …. I know because sadly I’ve said them words…. I have things inside me I want to say to another but I can not… Things that sound petty in my head and heart but are inside me I’m not sure why… Would just cause more pain and only serve to… I’m not even sure what. Maybe I’ll try this again when my mind can focus.
