Monday, January 19, 2009. January 7th, 2008 was the day I landed back in Istanbul. I was home in Arkansas on vacation that day this year. It kind of passed without me knowing it. Much like this entire year has passed without me realizing it. It doesn't seem real that I've been back in my new "home" for a year. Gone from America for a year. Away from my family for a year. My body is still telling me that I'm in America. It's 2 am, and I'm awake as if it's 6 pm. What have I done in the past year?

Why I Bike: A Manifesto. August 2, 2015. August 2, 2015. For the month of July, I biked 94.01 miles in 17 days. I also ran 9 times for 19.43 miles. Finally got my butt in gear to ride to work a couple of times this month. I hope to get more bike miles in to get ready for some upcoming rides in the fall. In any case, I’m enjoying the summer while it lasts. June 30, 2015. For the month of June, I biked 21.31 miles in 3 days. I also ran 8 times for 22.79 miles, which included the Pride 5K. June 13, 2015.
