The Peak Condition Project - Jose: Tired Legs

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-jose.blogspot.com/2011/05/tired-legs.html

Sunday, 15 May 2011. 15 May 2011 at 19:06. Excellent mental strategy, to dwell not on how hard it is but the successes youve had in the past. 16 May 2011 at 22:22. Dunno if you read Tanyas blog. we had a spanish indulgence #3. maybe not the best paella, but best one in HK I believe! Good luck for this week! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Peak Condition Project - Jose: Been Rubbish at Blogging

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-jose.blogspot.com/2011/05/been-rubbish-at-blogging.html

Thursday, 5 May 2011. Been Rubbish at Blogging. Sorry all about the lack of blogging. Writing this before I feel Patrick is about to rightfully tell me off. particularly as we move towards the latter part of the programme I am learning more and more things about paradoxically that big stranger to me: my body. It is funny but for something we live 24hrs a day with, how little time, respect and listening we pay to our bodies. And that is on top of the jumps and the PCP workout. 6 May 2011 at 09:09.

The Peak Condition Project - Jose: April 2011

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-jose.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 27 April 2011. Too much of a (not so good) thing. So a bit late with the posts. New glorious pics to follow soon and an updated post but feel that an indulgence update is in order. Wednesday, 20 April 2011. So new indulgence is due and the news is I am not too bothered about it! In fact my wife is far more excited than I am, as this would be a chance for her to drag me out to one of our favourite restaurants for a meal. Thing is there are 2 things that lead me away from indulging. On the other...

The Peak Condition Project - Robbi: March 2011

http://thepeakconditionproject-robbi.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Day 30 - Sold! To the man with the gold jacket from Kowloon. Today has been the hardest day ever.not soi much couse I was tired or de motivated.but because I was meant to be out, with an amazing glass of white wine in one hand and the best buttered lobster tail int he the other.to celebrate the selling of my flat in Happy Valley for an eye watering amount of money.but all I had was a few miserable eggs and some fruit. One more day then it the week end! Tuesday, March 29, 2011.

Monday, May 30, 2011. Day 91 - New beginnings (but not for the next 3 days.). I'm still having a tough time letting it sink in. Are we really past the day 90 mark? Last week was a complete blur. Literally all the elements of the universe coverged to make what was probably THE most hectic week of my life and of course it had to be the last week of PCP - I guess somebody or something out there really wanted to test me. BUT I survived so if I can handle last week I can handle anything! Now for the encore?

Sunday, May 22, 2011. Day 83 - wtf? Only 1 week to go on the PCP? What the hell am I going to do without Patrick feeding me my weekly diet and exercise plan? Scary stuff.probably quite similar to how a convict feels just before being paroled. Sunday, May 15, 2011. DAY 76 - 2 weeks left. Only 2 weeks left everyone - stay strong and let's finish the PCP with a bang! Thursday, May 5, 2011. DAY 66 - Post-indulgence. Ready for the final push. Have to lose this damn visceral fat! The Peak Condition Project - Kristi: Day 77

http://thepeakconditionproject-kristi.blogspot.com/2011/05/day-77.html

Monday, May 16, 2011. Two days is hardly long enough for the weekend. Sigh, we should all work two days and then have 5 days off. If you can’t tell I have a case of the Mondays! What I really want is an ice cream sundae. I haven’t had a single spoonful of ice cream this whole time. Perhaps that doesn’t seem like a lot to most but I am an icecreamaholic. I used to walk to the corner store at least 3 times a week for creamies. Do you all have creamie stands? May 16, 2011 at 3:06 PM. May 16, 2011 at 8:01 PM.

The Peak Condition Project - Tanya: Day 84 - The stranded skipper

http://thepeakconditionproject-tanyat.blogspot.com/2011/05/day-84-stranded-skipper.html

Monday, May 23, 2011. Day 84 - The stranded skipper. Our last PCP-lite day before the supersets start. I was planning to come straight home after work and do my skips in the park however, the weather had other plans and it started raining so I ended up at the gym instead. Unexpectedly here is part 2 of my gym observation - gyms are so bloody crowded! You have got to be kidding me. I pay x amount a month to not even be able to find a measly patch of floor on which to skip? I've become quite reliant on my ...

Sunday, May 15, 2011. Day 76 - Just a perfect day, drink sangria in the park. Indulgence day.now we knew this was going to be a big one so Gilles and I decided to get the workout out of the way in the morning so it wouldn't be hanging over our heads. We also planned to get quite drunk which is not really conducive to exercise. Anyway this blog is not about exercise it is about FOOD! View of Stanley Harbour from our table. MMMMelon and prosciutto and pan con tomate. And the grand finale. Everytime I look ...

Sunday, May 15, 2011. Day 75 - I heart PCP? We had been hearing rumours it was on the horizon and today it was officially announced - the third and final (pause for effect) INDULGENCE! Gilles and I spent a good 20 minutes throwing around some ideas as to where we should go and finally we have come to a decision (no French) and are going for an all out epic lunch tomorrow. More details to follow on the next post. Already I am rubbing my hands together in anticipation. It's gonna be amaaaaazing! I've been ...

The Peak Condition Project - Tanya: The Final Post!

http://thepeakconditionproject-tanyat.blogspot.com/2011/06/final-post.html

Wednesday, June 1, 2011. I’m a little teary about this being my last post. I was even a little nostalgic doing my last work out on Sunday so I put on a yellow t-shirt in homage to my ‘jump rope for heart’ school days. I’ve needed a few days for all those endorphins to wear off so I can write something cohesive without punctuating every sentence with “Good job! Of course particular mention must go to Patrick and Chen (you man of mystery – reveal yourself! Come on, not even a walk on part? 1 3kgs – T...

The Peak Condition Project - Jessica

Tuesday, November 3, 2009. I bow to Fred and Sidney. Sad, the PCP is finished. That's o.k., I'll just go eat some cake. (KIDDING). No cookies, and smiles times (day 90). In June, I ended my Peace Corps West Africa service and returned to America with one goal in mind: to eat my way through Dr. Phil’s Weight Loss Challenge “what not to eat” section. I found the book in a discarded “Books for Africa” box. (Seriously, who donates a weight loss book to Africa! What’s wrong with you? Throughout my service, I ...

Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Day 27 - The journey continues. Some random thoughts on the progress and changes to body:. Keeping as much as possible to the diet program. I had two bites of chocolate on Monday, but everything else is going swimmingly. For some reason (I think Patrick already mentioned it), I've had an on-again, off-again headache this week. Think its the body continuing to adjust to its new-found heightened performance (and lack of crap in the system ;-). I have to say, I'm pretty proud of the...

Thank you gentlemen for your leadership, support and knowledge. Thank you for the combination of exercise and example by you and all former PCP'ers. For representing the project so well. Monday, May 9, 2011. Dear PCPeers and visitors,. It's almost a slap in the face to be posting this nearly a month overdue. But better late than never. So, Patrick, PCPeers, please excuse me for such inexcusable tardiness. I started PCP because I had some general intuitions about changes that needed to be made in my life:. 1 There was the vain aspiration to look good, but mostly a latent feeling of indebtedness to myself. New body, new mind, new path. 2 After PCP I ride my bicycle every day and do muscle ...

Monday, 29 August 2011. Day 90 – “Dear Athletes”. As some of you may know, my inspirational figure for PCP was “Triathlon Guy” … And I am pleased to announce that it is official . I AM a TRIATHLETE! Last week I enrolled in the HKFC Triathlon Club and today I received my first email from the Club Capitan and it was addressed to ME as. 8230;“Dear Athlete(s)”… My inspiration is now a reality … I am an ATHLETE and that happened without me taking a single step onto the Triathlon course. Saturday, August 6, 2011. Day 67 - Substituting jumprope with swimming pool and biking. Since the fracture, I am not allowed to do jump rope. I understand how convenient it was to do this and how effective it was. It's short, you can do it everywhere, you don't need a swimming pool or a gym to carry on your workout. I would have to keep going with PCP beyond PCP until i reach 76 Kg. Day 68 - Challenging Ramadan. Patrick has given me a special diet during Ramadan but with still 3 meals. There is no wa...
