The Peak Condition Project - Karim

Saturday, August 6, 2011. Day 67 - Substituting jumprope with swimming pool and biking. Since the fracture, I am not allowed to do jump rope. I understand how convenient it was to do this and how effective it was. It's short, you can do it everywhere, you don't need a swimming pool or a gym to carry on your workout. I would have to keep going with PCP beyond PCP until i reach 76 Kg. Day 68 - Challenging Ramadan. Patrick has given me a special diet during Ramadan but with still 3 meals. There is no wa...

The Peak Condition Project - Karim: Day 55 - In Iraq

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-karim.blogspot.com/2011/07/day-55-in-iraq.html

Monday, July 25, 2011. Day 55 - In Iraq. For the next couple of days spending some time in Iraq where getting the right quantities on the road is not that easy. As Patrick mentioned by now, we should have a fairly good scale in the eyes to estimate the quantities. The issue is not so much about the quantities but about being able to get a yogurt in the middle of something or get low fat milk. Weight loss wise, it has been stagnating lately hardly breaking up the 7.5 Kg bar. July 26, 2011 at 3:30 AM.

The Peak Condition Project - Karim: Day 68 - Challenging Ramadan

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-karim.blogspot.com/2011/08/day-68-challenging-ramadan.html

Saturday, August 6, 2011. Day 68 - Challenging Ramadan. Not eating the whole day, doing your workout right before iftar is becoming difficult. The only positive is that the scale is showing improvements on a daily basis after a long period of stagnation. Yesterday i was so tired that I slept from 9 PM till 7 AM. I still have not find the right rythme for Ramadan but all I can say it's challenging. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What IS The Peak Condition Project? Day 68 - Challenging Ramadan.

The Peak Condition Project - Karim: May 2011

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-karim.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Ready, Steady, Go! That's it. I just came back from Royal Mirage Tagine (a Moroccan restaurant) to enjoy the last meal of the old Karim. Came back and given the timezone, it is now 12 AM Dubai time. Tomorrow seems to be a little easy though i am wondering if we should do exercises during the morning or the evening. Ropes were bought couple of days back so ready to embark on this crazy journey. My colleagues are aware of this and they will be watching out carefully the blog.

Tuesday, 5 July 2011. Doing an exercise where you need to stand on the resistence band, best to make sure it's secure. mine slipped from under my foot the this morning and the result was a mite painful. Also, tried some crossover moves during tthe skipping. didnt really go according to plan and managed to whip myself. i wonder if this would have been worse with a leather jump rope? Does this have any bearing on the decision to a buy leather jump rope? Now got a few marks Spartacus would be proud of!

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. PCP - Day 1. My main reason on doing the PCP was because of my family. Being nearly 40 and having a young family is a little scary and I don't want my lack of fitness or unhealthiness to stop me from being able throw or kick the ball to my son when he wants to. The Peak Condition Project- Fleur: COMPLETE!

http://thepeakconditionproject-fleur.blogspot.com/2011/08/complete.html

Wednesday, 31 August 2011. WOW, its over. This feels weird. I feel a bit like I'm on a come down. The past 3months have been intense, hard work, a little depressing at times, stressful, educational, liberating, triumphant, energetic, moody. a rollercoaster! I remember reading the closing statements of PCP'ers before me saying how they have changed their ways for the long term and I remember wondering what that would feel like and how on earth does a person get there! The 1500 maintanence skips are someth...

The Peak Condition Project- Fleur: Day 71- Refelctive

http://thepeakconditionproject-fleur.blogspot.com/2011/08/day-71-refelctive.html

Thursday, 11 August 2011. So I let the yoke run out and I ate the white. I was so pleased that they accomodated me. I didn't want to skip another dinner. I've learned that there are knock on effects of doing that and I hope I don't ever do it again. Got to keep the metabolism active. So I've got 40 minutes of extra cardio everday now. My work outs are 90 minutes plus now. I wish there was some way I could buy some time! 11 August 2011 at 12:59. 11 August 2011 at 16:21. Restaurants can be good if you ask ...

Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Day 27 - The journey continues. Some random thoughts on the progress and changes to body:. Keeping as much as possible to the diet program. I had two bites of chocolate on Monday, but everything else is going swimmingly. For some reason (I think Patrick already mentioned it), I've had an on-again, off-again headache this week. Think its the body continuing to adjust to its new-found heightened performance (and lack of crap in the system ;-). I have to say, I'm pretty proud of the...

Monday, May 9, 2011. Dear PCPeers and visitors,. It's almost a slap in the face to be posting this nearly a month overdue. But better late than never. So, Patrick, PCPeers, please excuse me for such inexcusable tardiness. I started PCP because I had some general intuitions about changes that needed to be made in my life:. 1 There was the vain aspiration to look good, but mostly a latent feeling of indebtedness to myself. New body, new mind, new path. 2 After PCP I ride my bicycle every day and do muscle ...

Monday, 29 August 2011. Day 90 – “Dear Athletes”. As some of you may know, my inspirational figure for PCP was “Triathlon Guy” … And I am pleased to announce that it is official . I AM a TRIATHLETE! Last week I enrolled in the HKFC Triathlon Club and today I received my first email from the Club Capitan and it was addressed to ME as. 8230;“Dear Athlete(s)”… My inspiration is now a reality … I am an ATHLETE and that happened without me taking a single step onto the Triathlon course. My PCP is finished? Monday, April 19, 2010. Well, that's it, it's over. What a time it was. A ton of hard work, a ton of learning, trials and tribulations as people got injured (Kelly), recovered (Kelly), struggled with the program and it's demands, celebrated breakthroughs and generally learned a lot about themselves. Cheers to you all for getting through this. Friday, April 9, 2010. Just about moved in. So moving back to Japan has been interesting. It's so great to be back but the move has been exhausting!
